NCCR Spin Qubits announced today!
Today, the Swiss Federal Council and the SNSF have announced six new national research programs, among them the NCCR SPIN, hosted at the Department of Physics at the University of Basel, collaborating with partners IBM, EPFL and ETHZ. The goal is to develop reliable, fast, compact and scalable spin qubits in Si and nuchlear-spin-free materials considering both electron and hole spins.
